As of January, all RVs will be part of the e-vignette system in Hungary

As of 1 January 2026, Act LXVII of 2013 on Distance-Based Tolls Payable for the Use of Motorways, Expressways and Main Roads will be amended, as a result of which recreational vehicles with a maximum authorised mass of over 3.5 tonnes will be able to use the toll road network in Hungary under the user charge system from that date.

Toll charge to increase in two stages from 2026

The toll charge payable in proportion to the distance travelled for the road use by vehicles with a maximum authorised total mass of over 3.5 tonnes will increase in two stages, from 1 January and 1 March next year, by an overall increase less than previously announced.

Information regarding the disruption of e-vignette and e-toll sales

Please note that any error affecting our Company's sales system will not result in any adverse legal consequences for our customers.

Starting July 20, 2025, E-Toll Services Hungary Kft. will no longer be a toll declaration operator

We would like to inform our customers that the individual data reporting contract between E-Toll Services Hungary Kft. and our company, National Toll Payment Services Plc. will be terminated on 20 July 2025.

Note to carriers: As of 1 February, the route ticket will be valid for a period of 120 minutes!

The period of 120 minutes starts from the time of successful payment.
