As part of the HU-GO system, National Toll Payment Services Plc. has launched a comprehensive programme for foreign and Hungarian customers alike, aimed at improving the registration and verification of the vehicles’ emission class.
National Toll Payment Services Plc. is to launch Business Intelligence services on the market. The new business line has been designed to meet the constantly increasing scientific and business needs related to toll payment and road use. Gergely Kitta, Director for Strategic and Government Relations will be responsible for the development of this business line.
As of September 1, 2018, the Ministerial Decree regulating the amount of the toll and the toll sections will be amended in several points.
As of 1 April 2018, Slovenia will introduce a modern electronic tolling system for vehicles with the maximum permissible weight over 3.5 tonnes (heavy vehicles).
Three languages have been added to the list of languages in which the services of ‘kiosks’, i.e. the route planning devices located at the points of sale of the pay-as-you-go electronic toll charging system (HU-GO) are available. The National Toll Payment Services Plc. has opted for the addition of new languages to the existing package based on the toll declaration statistics of foreign road users. For years, Bulgarian, Serbian and Slovenian hauliers have represented a high ratio of route ticket buyers.
