Customers will be able to purchase road use authorisations at MOL fuel stations in Romania also from 29 July, in the HU-GO Hungarian electronic toll collection system.
As a result, together with the POS’s located in Hungary, road use authorisation can be purchased at nearly 1,000 locations. In the e-toll system, charges must be paid for cargo vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 tons on the altogether 6,513 km long toll sections of the Hungarian public road network. The list and map of toll sections of the road network are available at www.hu-go.hu where route tickets can also be purchased and customers can also registered in the system.
Currently, route tickets can be purchased and current account balances can be credited by registered users at 16 MOL fuel stations in Romania. An additional 22 POS’s in Romania are expected to join the HU-GO sale system in the near future.
