E-tolls: the table of toll rates applicable from January is now available
The methodology for determining the amount of the electronic toll to be paid in proportion to the distance travelled is set out in Government Decree 209/2013 (VI. 18.) on the implementation of Act LXVII of 2013 on distance-based tolls payable for the use of motorways, expressways and main roads.
In accordance with the decree, from 1 January 2025 the infrastructure charge will increase by 3.4% with the rate of inflation in August this year, while the external cost charge will remain unchanged, taking into account the euro-forint exchange rate published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 1 October 2024.
The gross HUF values of the toll rates determined in Decree No 25/2013 (V. 31.) NFM of the Minister of National Development on the tollcharges and toll roads, effective from 1 January 2025 are set out in the table below.
