Changes in the e-toll system

Decree 19/2022. (IX. 19.) of the Minister of Technology and Industry on amending certain ministerial decrees in relation to toll payment has amended Decree 25/2013. (V. 31.) NFM of the Minister of National Development on the amount of the toll and toll roads. Accordingly, toll rates will change as of 15 October 2022.

In addition, Government Decree 361/2022 (IX. 19.) has amended Government Decree 209/2013 (VI. 18.) on the implementation of Act LXVII of 2013 on distance-based tolls payable for the use of motorways, expressways and main roads. Accordingly, starting on 1 July 2023, toll rates will annually increase as of 1 October of the subject year at a rate equal to the inflation rate published by the Central Statistical Office for the month of July of the same year.
