In-person customer service suspended at NTPS Plc.

In order to support protection against the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic and to safeguard the health of customers and staff, National Toll Payment Services Plc. (NTPS Plc.) has suspended in-person customer service from 8 March, 2021 until further notice, in compliance with the provisions of Government Decree No. 104/2021. (III. 5.) on the temporary tightening of protective measures.

The Company requests all customers to manage their affairs and administrative tasks by electronic means.

Given the extraordinary situation arising from the pandemic, all customer services of NTPS Plc. will be available for use by way of electronic correspondence, such as the correction of registration numbers, country codes or vehicle categories, the transfer of road use authorisation to another vehicle, requesting surcharge maximisation and surcharge amnesty or the redemption of surcharge payment liability by purchasing annual authorisation.

In cases relating to the e-vignette system or the HU-GO e-toll, please reach out to our staff via email at: ugyfel@nemzetiutdij.hu and ugyfel@hu-go.hu, respectively. Our staff processes letters in order of receipt, and respond to any customer queries and requests as quickly as possible, but within 30 days at the latest.

Our Company’s Call Centre is available to call both domestically and from abroad at +36 (36) 587-500. Our operators receive telephone calls in Hungarian 24/7, in English from 8 am to 4 pm every day, and in German from 8 am to 4 pm on business days.

NTPS Plc. calls attention to the fact that the temporary suspension of in-person customer service does not exempt customers from the liability of administration, or the obligation to purchase road use authorisation. Please also note that in respect of surcharge-related cases, requests sent to us by electronic means have no suspensory effect on the payment deadline set out in the surcharge notification letter.

NTPS Plc. recommends that its customers use ematrica.nemzetiutdij.hu and hu-go.hu (optimised for mobile phones) for their e-vignette purchases and e-toll payments, respectively.
